JD Vance would make a great slimy snake oil salesman because he lies with ease. He skillfully slid around most questions. The only question he could not navigate easily was the one where Walz asked him if Trump lost the 2020 election. To that question, Vance gave a non-answer, saying he didn’t want to talk about the past, he wants to focus on the future. Walz, in my opinion, rightly called this a “damning non-answer.”

Walz, on the other hand, is un-comfortable lying. He couldn’t explain why he said he was in China during the massacre in Tiananmen Square. To be clear, he, apparently, was in China that year— just not when the massacre took place.

So, Donald Trump chose a running mate whose words have no relationship with the truth; while Harris chose a knowledgeable governor with a history of steering his state in a way that benefits the citizens and who has a moral compass and conscience.

In my humble opinion, Vice President Harris chose a running mate who, if necessary, could be trusted to lead the United States in her stead. Former President Trump, on the other hand, chose a running mate who speaks with a “forked tongue.”

I urge everyone to go to the polls and vote for Harris/Walz.
